In April 2023, I embarked on a backpacking trip through Southeast Asia and landed on the island of Siargao. Renowned for its idyllic surf spots and coconut palm forest, I was eager to discover this pearl of the Philippines.

It was on this island that I took my first surfing lesson. I quickly fell under the spell of Jacking Horse's small waves. But, like any beginner, I spent more time falling than standing. After repeated falls, I realized that my classic bikinis weren't suitable: they were constantly moving, making each session uncomfortable.

Determined to find a solution, I explored the lovely boutiques along Tourism Road in General Luna. Unfortunately, I only found swimsuits with floral or checkered patterns, which didn't suit my tastes. Tired of repetitive and impractical designs, I decided to create an alternative.

This is how Coastal Reef® was born. After a few weeks of reflection, I set out to design surf swimsuits that were both simple and elegant, offering optimal support for all women seeking comfort and functionality.
